Hollywood!

The Adams' family descended on Hollywood on Monday after some hair rasing traffic.

We got into LA early and then headed to Universal Studios for the day.  It was really quiet, which was great.  We were able to get to the front of the line really quick for everything except the Simpson ride (which took 30 minutes for some reason).  All our favourite ride was the Transformers ride.  What a riot!  The girls did it twice, the boys had butterflies in our tummies and needed a break for a few minutes.

We got soaked on the Jurassic Park ride, but really liked that one too.  Shrek 4D was dated and pretty lame though.  The Simpsons was a close 2nd for the girls favorites, but too many head spinning scenes made me almost sick again (I had to shut my eyes for quite a while).  If the line was shorter, the girls would have been back in line.

I can't believe how cold it gets here at night.  The breeze off the ocean really cools things down, so the mornings are cold and foggy and the evenings are cold and windy.  I always thought it was warm here all the time.  Beautiful area, but so much traffic and changing weather, so this will not be where we settle down for the year.

Sorry for posting late.
Stew.
